Xi Jinping arrived in Osaka, Japan, to attend the 14th Summit

President Xi Jinping arrived in Osaka on June 27 by special plane and attended the 14th summit at the invitation of Japanese Prime

Minister Shinzo Abe.

At about 1.15 p.m. local time, Xi’s special plane arrived at Kansai International Airport in Osaka. Xi Jinping stepped out of the

cabin door. Senior Japanese government officials and governors of Osaka Prefecture met him at the gangway.

Chinese Ambassador to Japan Kong Hyun-you also greeted him at the airport.

The G20 Leaders Summit will be held in Osaka from June 28 to 29. Xi Jinping will elaborate on his views and proposals on the world

economic situation and global economic governance at the summit. During the meeting, Xi Jinping will also attend the BRICS

Leaders’Meeting, the China-Russia-India Leaders’ Meeting, the China-Africa Leaders’Meeting, and hold bilateral meetings with

leaders of some countries.
